The official news feed of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia states that starting from January 1, 2027, the alienation and presence of polyethylene bags and single-use plastic products during retail trade in trade facilities, public catering facilities, trade venues, mobile retail points, fairs (vernissages), exhibition-sales, hawking (peddling), as well as outdoor trade, shall be prohibited.
